ABOUT COURSE

2. Basically, lecture courses are awarded 2 credits. For more information, please refer to our syllabus.
*Please note that almost all Japanese language courses conducted at Kobe University International Student Center are not credit awarding. It all depends on partner universities as to whether whose transcript can be transferred to the official credit at partner universities.
3. 1 Course=? Credits
(1) For lectures, one credit shall consist of 15 hours of classes;
(2) For seminars, laboratory experiments, practical training, and skills training, one credit shall represent 30 hours of classes
4. Minimum course enrolment for exchange students
In order to qualify for “Student Visa” status, exchange students need to register for more than 10 lesson hours of class per week.
(approximately 7 kinds of courses /semester)
5. Restricted Programs and other academic requirements
If they were accessed as having an adequate Japanese language skill, they will be eligible to take any class without limitation, except for ones with pre-requisites. For more information, please read the syllabus carefully.

2. ACCOMMODATION

3. VISA

Kobe University will send an acceptance letter and the COE to the International department at partner university. After students receive them, please apply to a “Student Visa” at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate.
