2020年秋季学期早稻田大学交换项目(康师傅奖学金计划)


康师傅控股公司和早稻田大学合作成立了“康师傅圆梦奖学金”项目,该项目旨在启发学生思考他们与周围环境的联系和意义,希望他们成为未来的领导者,具有国际视野,发挥个人影响力。该项目仅开放给北京大学、清华大学、复旦大学、上海交通大学及浙江大学这五所高校的学生。学生将以交换生的身份在早稻田大学学习一学期。学生将学习国际关系等必修课程,参加高知县宿毛市的实地考察,以及嘉宾演讲等。

该项目免学费(规定课程免学费)。康师傅/早稻田方面提供住宿费及上海-东京的来回机票费,并有410000日元的生活补贴。

申请条件

1.  在校全日制本科生
2.  符合申请学部的成绩及英语要求注:CET不能作为申请早大的英语能力证明。学生需要提前确认自己所要报考的早大各学部的英语要求。若校内网申时,学生还未取得托福或雅思成绩,CET6级450分以上也可申请,但需要在之后补交雅思或托福成绩,否则无法被录取。

1.  校内网申,本科生于11月30日前登陆“我的数字交大”(my.sjtu.edu.cn)完成在线申请,同时将以上材料邮件发送至studyabroad@sjtu.edu.cn;
2.  面试选拔,学校将组织对材料进行审核,确定推荐名单;
3.  名单推荐给对方后,早稻田大学及康师傅集团将组织面试,确定入选学生名单。康师傅/早稻田预计将在12月下旬组织面试。
备注
1. 梦想计划书应包含研究课题、主要研究问题、简要背景说明、研究意义和目的、研究方法、主要参考的文献/研究。
2. 推荐课题:粮食安全、一带一路倡议、环境问题、老龄化社会、社会平等问题、创新西荒野、可持续发展、产学研关系、人才培养。

立命馆亚洲太平洋大学


1. 课程相关信息

课程层级: 仅限本科

交换时间: 一学期或一学年

交换学院:

  • 亚洲太平洋研究学院 (APS)
  • 国际管理学院 (APM)

注意: 申请时,学生必须选择一个学院。到校后,两个学院的课程均可选择。建议学生选择与母校专业相近的学院。

课程语言: 英语和日语

学期时长: 一学期通常为14周。令有2周为考试周。
 立命馆太平洋大学的一个学期分上下两部分。部分课程仅在上半学期或下半学期开课。

Eligibility

英文项目

To be eligible to apply for HUSTEP, students must:

1. be from exchange partner universities

2. be enrolled and pay tuition fees at their home universities during study in Japan

3. have completed at least two years of undergraduate study prior to arrival in Japan

4. have GPA of 3.0 (B) or better on a 4.0 scale or equivalent

5. be proficient in English. Non-native English speakers must have a score of at least TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5

6. be able to arrive in Sapporo by late September or first week of April

日语项目

  • Applicants must be a Japanese language and/or culture major enrolled in an undergraduate degree course at a partner university of Hokkaido University. First-year students are not eligible to apply.
  • Applicants should have N3 (or higher) on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the equivalent at the time of application. Specifically, applicants should know 500 or more kanji and be able to understand conversation spoken at a natural speed. They should also be able to read and write simple sentences. Any students who are found to have inadequate language skills after arrival will not be able to complete the course.
  • Applicants must possess a good academic record at the university level.
  • Applicants must be between 18 and 29.

Please note:

There is a screening process and NOT all students who apply will be accepted. Japanese language ability is not required to participate in HUSTEP. Those students whose main focus is studying Japanese language and are majoring in Japanese Studies should consider applying to the Japanese Language and Cultural Studies Program (JLCSP) instead of HUSTEP.

There are a limited number of scholarships available so most students will have to cover their own costs. Although the cost of living in Japan varies for each individual, it will cost about 100,000 yen per month. Thus, students should have enough money saved up to pay for one year of living costs or make other financial arrangements before coming to Japan. Students should be clear that HUSTEP is strictly a study program.

Even if students receive a scholarship, the first payment will be made one month after arrival. Students must bring money to pay for their dormitory fee and living costs for their first month.

4 AU per course (subjected to home university’s and NTU’s approval).

To enrol for the international exchange programme at SMU, candidates should first seek approval from the home university. The score for TOEFL-test should be equivalent to 550 points (the paper-based test) or 213 points (the computer-based test) or between 79 – 80 points (the internet-based test). The overall score for IELTS should be equivalent to 6.5 points. The score for TOEIC should be 700 points.

APPLICATION

3. REQUIREMENTS

1) Students MUST be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate degree programmes at overseas universities that have concluded an academic exchange agreement with Nagoya University. Refer to Partner Institutions. They should not be engaged in full-time employment.
2) Students MUST meet the application requirements of the “Student Exchange Support Program (Scholarship for Short-term Study in Japan)” as provided by the Ministry of Education, Japan, and administered by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). Refer JASSO Scholarship.
3) Students MUST have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B) or better on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
4) NUPACE requires exchange students to be proficient in either English OR Japanese. Unless they attend universities where English is the language of instruction, non-native English speakers who wish to participate in the NUPACE English-language curriculum should possess a TOEFL score of 550 <CBT = 213; iBT = 79>, an IELTS overall band score of 6.0, a TOEIC score of 780, or the equivalent. Students intending to take regular university courses instructed in Japanese must possess level one of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), or the equivalent.

NUPACE will also consider applications from students having scored well in the Japanese language section of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU). Please contact the NUPACE Office in advance if you have taken this examination.
5) Students Participating in the Programme on a Self-financed Basis, NUPACE requires all self-financed students to provide the Office with documentary proof that they are able to financially maintain themselves for the duration of their exchange in Japan. Prior to their arrival in Japan, self-financed students must send a bank statement (their own, or that of a close family member) to this Office, giving evidence that they possess funding as follows:
a) In the event of a one-semester exchange: The equivalent of 500,000 yen.
b) In the event of a one-year exchange: The equivalent of 1,000,000 yen.

Language requirements

NUPACE requires exchange students to be proficient in either English OR Japanese. Unless they attend universities where English is the language of instruction, non-native English speakers who wish to participate in the NUPACE English-language curriculum should possess at least an iBT TOEFL score of 79, IELTS overall band score of 6.0, TOEIC score of 780, CEFR level of B2, or CET-6 score of 480.

Students intending to take regular university courses instructed in Japanese must possess level one (N1) of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), or the equivalent.

DAILY LIFE

1. INSURANCE

All NUPACE students are required to join the Japan National Health Insurance (JNHI) programme. For a monthly fee of approximately ï½¥1,700, JNHI policyholders are entitled to a 70% discount on most medical and dental fees incurred. We are aware that many incoming students are covered by private/home university insurance schemes. However, considering 1) that medical expenses in Japan are relatively high, 2) that Japanese medical facilities do not accept foreign insurance policies in lieu of payment and, 3) that students will, therefore, have to wait a minimum of two months to be reimbursed by their home insurance policies, NUPACE policy is to require Japan National Health Insurance subscription from all students.

2. ACCOMMODATION

All successful applicants are housed.
Single rooms in student dormitories, located either on-campus or close to the university.

3. ESTIMATED LIVING EXPENSES

Health and personal liability insurance: Approximately 2,000 yen per month.

4. VISA REQUIREMENTS

Foreign students intending to pursue studies in Japan must be in possession of a valid passport issued by their country of citizenship. Prior to embarking for Japan, they are also required to apply to the nearest Japanese diplomatic mission (embassy or consulate) for a “college student visa”. In the case of NUPACE students, a “college student visa” is usually issued after the embassy/consulate obtains the applicant’s “Certificate of Eligibility for Status and Residence”.
Nagoya University applies for these “Certificates of Eligibility” on behalf of prospective NUPACE students. And then, once applications have been processed, sends the “Certificates” directly to the students or their home institutions. It is imperative that when applying for a “college student visa”, students take their “Certificate of Eligibility”, passport, and letter of admission to Nagoya University to the Japanese Embassy or Consulate. Students are also required to bring the “Certificate” with them when they enter Japan to submit to the airport authorities.

3. VISA AND HEALTH INSURANCE

When students enter Japan with their student visa, they will receive a “ResidenceCard.” This card notes students’ visa status, period of stay and other information related to residency.
Within 2 weeks, students are to carry out residency registration procedures atthe local wardoffice.
Students are to carry this Residence Card at alltimes during their stay in Japan, and this card will be used to prove residency when opening a bank account, signing a contract for mobile phones, etc.

National Health Insurance
*Mandatory

All international students studying at SWU are required to become a member of the “National Health Insurance.” Students must apply at the National Health Insurance section of the ward office with their Residence Card and passport.
This insurance is valid throughout the students’ stay in Japan, and with this insurancestudents only have to pay 30% of the medical fee (some services such as health check-ups and special operations are not covered by the insurance).The monthly insurance premium differsbased on the students’ wardof residence, but are usually about JPY 2,000/month.

Part-TimeWork Permission

In order to start a part-time job, international students must apply for work permission Shikakugai katsudo kyoka (“Application for Permission to Engage in Activity Other Than That Permitted Under the Status of Residence Previously Granted”).
This can be done at the airport when entering Japan, and those who planto work part-time are strongly recommended to apply for permission at the airport. Otherwise, students have to go to the Immigration Bureau later on their own. No fee is charged for the work permission.
<NOTE>
-International students can only work up to 28 hours per week, and up to 8 hours a day during school vacations.
-Work in the adult entertainment business is strictly prohibited.

c. Receive email notification of approval
d. Receive the admission packet sent out via express mail
e. Send checklist and Overseas Health Insurance Certificate
f. Come to Ewha!

All students are required to hold a medical insurance which covers medical fees during their stay at Ewah.

3. ACCOMMODATION

Single or Double rooms are available on campus. Dorm application can be done online along with the application. On-campus housing is not fully guaranteed, and will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.
The cost for the dormitories have not been fixed and may be increased.

Today, the Seoul Campus, located in the heart of Seoul, comprises 21 undergraduate colleges and 15 graduate schools that offer a diverse range of programs. The Glocal Campus in the city of Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do, consists of six undergraduate colleges and two graduate schools. As of 2014, a total of about 25,600 students study at the two campuses and abroad (i.e., through Konkuk’s study abroad programs), an enormous growth compared to the student population of 1950 which was only 146.

1. INSURANCE

All exchange students must purchase overseas travelers insurance before arriving in Korea.

2. ACCOMMODATION

Campus Accommodations (Dormitories) 310,000 KRW -Afforable cost -Meals included (3 meals per day) -Can communicate with various people – Located at campus – A group life – Must keep the curfew and regulations. – Possible conflicts with roommates – Limited space and public utilities.

Off-campus accommodations (living a part from one’s family) The cost varies 300,000 KRW in average – More space and time allowed – Can cook on one’s own – The residen’t freedom guaranteed – High cost – Fees other than the monthly rent – High deposit (1 millon ~5 million KRW).

Off-campus accomodations (Boarding house) 450,000 KRW ~ 500,000 KRW more -Meals served – High cost – Possible conflicts with the landlord or roomates – Additional fees may be included.

3. ESTIMATED LIVING EXPENSES

About 400,000 KRW except housing fee

4. VISA REQUIREMENTS

Any foreigner wishing to stay in Korea over 91 days must visit the disctrict Immigration Office to get issued an alien registration card (ARC).
Required documents: 1) application form, 2) passport-size color ID photo, 3) passport, 4) 20,000 won service fee, 5) certificate of enrollment.
* If you are applying for an alien registration card to secure off-campus housing prior to the beginning of the semester, you can substitue a certificate of tuition payment for a certificate of enrollment.

5. SCHOLARSHIPS

All exchange students can apply for Government Scholarships and around US$4000 are offered to selected students.
