ABOUT COURSE

Full time load: 3 credits minimum and 5 maximum
1 credit usually equals one course spanning either both the Fall and Winter ter or 1 course spanning the whole Summer term.
1 course that lasts one term (eg. Only the Winter term) = 0.5 credits
Minimum course enrolment for exchange students: Please confirm with April
Maximum course enrolment for exchange students: 2.5 credits per term

Dentistry, Medicine, Rehabilitation Science/Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Management (MBA), Master of Financial Economics (MFE), Master of Law (LLM) and Bachelor of Education (BEd). The Academic Bridging Program, the Concurrent Teacher Education Program (CTEP), as well as the Co-op (work placement) program at UTSC are also not available to exchange students. Other programs — e.g., undergraduate Commerce/Management and Biochemistry — have traditionally had only a limited capacity for hosting exchange students.

3. REQUIREMENTS

No minimum academic requirements. Student Must be nominated by home institution.

Language requirements
Undergraduate – TOEFL Internet-based Test (IBT): minimum 89 overall + 19 on writing section
The minimum IELTS score requirement is an overall band of 6.5, with no band below 6.0. Graduate-TOEFL Internet-based Test (IBT): minimum 93 overall +22 on the writing/speaking section
The minimum IELTS score requirement is an overall band of 7.0. Law – TOEFL Internet-based Test (IBT): minimum 100 overall + 25 on the reading and writing sections
The minimum IELTS score requirement is an overall band of 7.0, with no band below 6.5.
